Map Overview

The Rensselaer County map is based on East Greenbush, a real area in Rensselaer County, New York. It features a vast network of roads including an interstate highway (Interblox 90, mirroring real-world I-90), city streets, residential neighborhoods, and rural stretches. The county seat in the game's lore is the City of Greenbush, and the map blends realistic road layouts with Roblox-style charm.

The map has expanded significantly through multiple updates. Update 5.3.0 (Summer 2025) added a major map expansion with license plate customization. Update 5.6.0 (Fall 2025) brought another map expansion alongside police tools. Update 5.9.0 (Spring 2026) added new map areas and a GPS revamp. The most recent Update 5.9.6 (August 2026) introduced new homes, neighborhoods, and house styles.

Key Locations

The Apex Auto dealership is the primary vehicle purchasing location, based on the real-world Lia Toyota of Colonie. It features 415 parking spots, a 3D showroom UI (revamped in 5.9.6), a service center, car wash, and collision center. The dealership is located near the main spawn area and is where most players buy their first vehicle.

Repair shops are scattered across the map — look for "Quick Fix Repair Shop" and "Go Car" locations. Repairs are free and restore your vehicle's damage bar after crashes. The dealership also has a repair station. As of Update 5.9.6, the junkyard near the dealership offers interactive vehicle restoration where you can open the hood, repair engines, wash vehicles, replace parts, and repaint.

Gas stations are located throughout the map. Press G next to a fuel pump and hold Enter to refuel. The gas station cashier job is available here as an Interactive job. Grocery stores also offer Interactive cashier jobs as of Update 5.9.0.

Residential Areas & Houses

Houses are spread across multiple neighborhoods. There are 7 base house styles, each with varying layouts (bedrooms, bathrooms, garages). The gated community area features high-end houses with pools. Update 5.9.6 added new neighborhoods with additional house types — players have found new areas off the main road including Horizon Drive, which features new house styles, a bike path, and park areas.

To claim a house, drive to an unclaimed property and press E (or tap on mobile). Use the House App on your phone to manage your home. The Premium House Gamepass unlocks full customization including floor plans, garage styles, and exterior designs.

Prop Buildings & Landmarks

Prop buildings are decorative structures scattered across the map with no interiors. Known prop buildings include CJ's Restaurant, Foodmarts, Hotel, Forestview Crossing, Office Complex #1 and #2, Restaurant #1, Warehouse #3, and an unnamed McDonald's. Some warehouse prop buildings have been removed in past updates.

The police station houses the New York State Police (NYSP), East Greenbush Police Department (EGPD), and SWAT. The DOT facility requires the DOT Gamepass to enter. The junkyard near the dealership is where you can buy and restore damaged vehicles for profit.

Navigation & GPS

The in-game GPS (revamped in Update 5.9.0) provides turn-by-turn navigation. Open your phone, select GPS, choose a destination from the list or type a location name, then press "Route" to see directions with distance and estimated travel time. The GPS also shows other players moving on the map in public servers.

Update 5.9.4 added a Vehicle Mobile HUD and GPS Phase 2 improvements. The phone also includes a Weather App (added in 5.9.6) showing upcoming forecasts, adding to the game's immersion.

Map Tips for New Players

Use the GPS to find specific locations rather than driving around randomly. The interstate (Interblox 90) is the fastest way to cross the map but watch your speed — driving above the speed limit reduces your passive income. Residential streets are great for practicing driving and finding unclaimed houses. The main road from the dealership leads to most key areas — follow it and watch for signs pointing to neighborhoods, the junkyard, and commercial zones.
